Dr Taylor Kaufmann Summers, ND is a licensed naturopathic family physician at Docere Center for Natural Medicine. Dr Taylor practices in an integrative manner, utilizing both evidence based natural and conventional treatments. She has a passion for primary care medicine, as well as pediatrics, women’s health, endocrine disorders (thyroid conditions, hormonal imbalances, diabetes), and cardiovascular disease. Dr Taylor has a special interest in working with the entire family unit, supporting the whole family in their collective and individual health, from preconception and fertility to later stages of life. Outside of the office, Dr. Taylor enjoys exploring all the mountains the pacific northwest has to offer through camping, hiking, and rock climbing with her husband, daughter, and dog.
Education
Dr. Taylor Summers is a licensed primary care provider and naturopathic physician in the state of Washington. She is a graduate of Bastyr University’s Naturopathic Medical Program and completed a nationally accredited residency in general family practice medicine at Bastyr University’s teaching clinic, the Bastyr Center for Natural Health. Dr. Taylor completed her undergraduate and premedical studies at the University of Colorado. Dr. Taylor has completed extra training in women’s health, adolescent/pediatric health, chronic and acute disease management, including cardiovascular disease and diabetes, as well as in physical medicine, physical manipulation, and botanical medicine. She continues to be a clinical teacher and supervisor in Bastyr University’s community teaching clinic where she is able to work with students and a diverse patient community.
