She received her Doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine from Bastyr University and prior to that, studied Human Biology at Michigan State University. Throughout her educational experience, Dr. Samantha ran her own business as a Birth Doula and provided compassionate and irreplaceable care for birthing parents and their families. While Dr. Samantha is well equipped for all of your healthcare concerns and needs, her passions and areas of expertise are in pediatric medicine as well as reproductive health especially fertility, postpartum and healing after pregnancy loss. She has the beautiful skills necessary to work with children and understands the many emotional and physical intricacies of expecting, new and growing families. Dr. Samantha also has pursued extra education and training in holistic mental health counseling and many physical medicine modalities including pelvic floor therapy, visceral manipulation and cranial sacral therapy.
Dr. Samantha has many passions outside of Medicine that inform her philosophy and approach as a Physician. She has studied and practiced Yoga for many years which contributes to her emphasis on emotional and spiritual health. Dr. Samantha has also always been a passionate environmentalist and naturalist, committed to sustainability and living in deep connection with the Natural world. She strongly believes that a foundation to Naturopathic medicine is not only improving the health of individuals, families, and communities but of entire ecosystems.
She spends most of her free time tending to her herb and food garden, preserving and cooking delicious food and biking or hiking with her partner.
