Dr. Huepers is a proud military spouse and a native of the great state of Texas. She attended Sul Ross State University in Alpine, TX to complete her Bachelor of Science in Biology, where she served as Vice-President of the University’s Society of Biologists. Upon graduation, she served for 3 years as a Research Associate for the Department of Anesthesiology at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, TX. Following this, she attended allopathic (MD) medical school for 1 year, but was ultimately dissatisfied by the perpetual cycle of covering up symptoms with a myriad of prescription medications while not addressing the root cause of those symptoms.
She graduated from National University of Health Sciences with a Doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine (ND). She specializes in consulting with patients utilizing both conventional and alternative therapies. In addition, she provides counseling services for her patients and their families.
In her spare time, Dr. Huepers enjoys spending her days with her husband of 13 years, her 2 cats, and 2 dogs (a chocolate lab and a corgi). She is a fan of the outdoors and loves to go hiking and simply being in nature.
