Dr. Mary Fu, ND
Dr. Mary Fu, ND is a naturopathic doctor licensed by the Oregon Board of Naturopathic Physicians. She completed her five-year training at the National University of Natural Medicine in Portland, Oregon, the oldest accredited naturopathic medicine school in North America.
During her training as a primary care physician, she completed over 1200 clinical rotation hours where she saw patients of diverse populations under direct supervision by naturopathic, chiropractic, and medical doctors. Dr. Fu’s clinical training has encompassed specialties such as endocrinology, women’s health, transgender health, botanical medicine and minor surgery in clinical settings as diverse as rural Nicaragua and low-income urban Portland.
She attends annual trainings in anthroposophic and herbal medicine and is currently engaged in a dedicated one-year fertility mentorship. She is a part-time clinical consultant at Precision Analytical, makers of DUTCH (dried urine test for comprehensive hormones) and extensively studies endocrinology and hormone health as a part of her work.
She brings to her practice a strong research background, having completed her Master’s degree in Policy Analysis from the Pardee RAND Graduate School and spent 3 years designing and conducting social science research studies to inform domestic and international policy.
She completed dual Bachelor’s degrees in Psychology and International Development Studies at the University of California, Los Angeles.
