Description

I earned my Doctorate of Naturopathic Medicine from National College of Natural Medicine in Portland, Oregon. Naturopaths are trained in basic medical sciences such as anatomy, physiology, biochemistry, pathology, and the holistic sciences of nutritional therapy, herbal medicine, homeopathy, and physical medicine. I’m an academic at heart and naturopathic school fed my innate curiosity about the functioning of the physical body and its energetic system.

As an undergraduate, I majored in comparative religion, with a focus on Buddhist studies, and was lucky to spend a semester in India living in a monastery. At that time I was fascinated by cultural ideas about health and wellness, and religious and philosophical perceptions about what creates and sustains health.

I moved to the Seacoast of New Hampshire in 2008. Originally form New York City, I felt that I found myself when I moved to New Hampshire. I love the grounded quality of the land and the people here.  Nature is my church and living in a place where it is easy to walk in the woods and sit by the ocean does me well. My spiritual practice is central to my life. I found meditation in my early teens and it is one of my pillars. I live in dialog with Spirit and am committed to doing my own healing work so that I can continually grow and evolve.

As a naturopath, I find that having tools to help shift energetic patterns in order to shift physical patterns (i.e. Quantum Physics) is what lies at the heart of my success with patients. It is my passion. I have pursued a lot of additional training in homeopathic medicine, craniosacral therapy, energy work, sound healing, flower essences and essential oils.  I’ve found that bodywork, such as craniosacral therapy and sound healing, is a powerful adjunct to naturopathic treatment, allowing a deeper level of healing to be achieved.
