Dr. Lisa Trofa has been a resident in Fairfield County for the past 30+ years.  She has studied extensively in Naturopathy and Acupuncture.  Her global experiences have taken her to some of the world's best training institutes.  Her expertise has led her to bridge the gap between Eastern and Western medicine and she looks forward to bringing her patients back to Health and Wellness. Dr. Trofa is devoted to bringing patients back to equilibrium. As a Naturopathic Doctor (N.D.), her specialties include physical pain, chronic diseases, fertility, neurological issues, stress/anxiety/depression, and autoimmune diseases. She strives to support all her patients through their journey to recovery.
Dr. Trofa earned her B.S. in Nutrition at Cornell University and her N.D. and M.S in Acupuncture from the University of Bridgeport.  There, she achieved an award for excellence in homeopathy.  In addition, Dr. Trofa has studied Acupuncture with scholars, at the Liaoning University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, in Shenyang, China.  Here, she received high honors for her studies in acupuncture, clinical training and moxibustion.
