Dr. Ronshagen is a licensed naturopathic physician. She graduated from the National University of Natural Medicine (NUNM) in Portland, Oregon prior to returning to her home state of Connecticut. She completed a teaching residency at the University of Bridgeport College of Naturopathic Medicine and continues to contribute to the program as a clinic supervisor and professor of Endocrinology and Living Anatomy. She is honored to serve her community and to have opened the first naturopathic practice in downtown New Haven, CT.
Dr. Ronshagen believes being trained in both conventional and natural therapies allows her to provide individualized health care to fit each patient’s needs.
She is committed to empowering and guiding her patients toward better health through education, while encouraging them to make their own informed decisions.
Specializing in nutritional, botanical, and physical medicine, Dr. Ronshagen treats a variety of medical conditions. In addition to providing naturopathic primary care, she has special interests in gastroenterology, endocrinology, and woman’s health and wellness. When outside of the clinic, Dr. Ronshagen spends as much time as possible in her garden, on her yoga mat, cooking delicious meals, exploring the outdoors, and enjoying her family, friends and 10 year-old pup, Nadi.
