Dr. Kimberly Free has been in practice since 2006. She graduated from Bastyr University in 2005 with a doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine. She earned her undergraduate degree from Western Washington University’s Fairhaven College in Bellingham while serving as an emergency medical technician and volunteer firefighter for Fire Protection District #10.
Dr. Free practices Personalized Medicine, considering the physical, mental, emotional and spiritual health of an individual to be of equal and vital importance. Each patient is treated as the unique individual they are. Each treatment plan is tailored to the specific needs of the individual.
Dr. Free has advanced training and certification in cannabinoid medicine and genomic medicine. Her research focus lies where the two fields intersect.
Genomic Medicine is a newer term for medical genetics that involves using genomic information about an individual as part of their clinical care for diagnostic and/or therapeutic decision-making purposes.
Cannabinoid Medicine is the study of the Endocannabinoid System and the maintenance of its health and function. The Endocannabinoid System supports stress recovery and homeostasis. Dr. Free specializes in guiding patients in the use of cannabis medicines for numerous health conditions.
Dr. Free sees patients of all ages and is dedicated to working with parents of pediatric patients who want to incorporate cannabinoid medicine into their child’s health care plan.
Dr. Free guides patients in realizing their health care goals. She achieves this by exemplifying a fierce dedication to the truth, by committing to give that truth a voice, and by holding an unwavering belief in the ability of every being to Heal.
