Dr. Kelly Buechel is a naturopathic physician who is passionate about holistic primary care. She integrates her training in naturopathic, conventional, and traditional Chinese medicine to support her patients in their healing journeys. She utilizes a patient-centered care approach in her practice, seeing patients of all ages, gender, race, and sexual orientation.
Dr. Buechel’s goals are to promote holistic care that bridges conventional and natural medicine. She utilizes her training in herbal medicine, nutraceuticals, nutrition, exercise, hydrotherapy, and physical medicine alongside labs and diagnostic exams to establish optimal health. She believes in strong partnerships with her patients, and seeks to cultivate sustainable health habits that address the mind, body, and spirit.
Some of Dr. Buechel’s clinical interests include mental health and mood disorders, women’s health, dermatology, as well as digestive health, and healthy aging. She enjoys listening to her patient’s stories, and strives to create individualized treatment plans for each person under her care. Dr. Buechel hopes to be a part of the larger push towards increasing access to naturopathic and complementary medicine locally and throughout the country.
Dr. Buechel earned her Doctorate of Naturopathic Medicine and Masters of Science in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine from Bastyr University in Seattle, WA. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology from Barnard College in New York City where she played Division I lacrosse for Columbia University. In her spare time she enjoys exploring the outdoors, trying new restaurants, and listening to music and podcasts.
