He is a passionate patient advocate who delivers naturopathic family medicine to the Washington community. He specializes in stress management, men’s health, and chronic pain. He uses behavioral medicine approaches, including biofeedback and neurofeedback, to empower people to create the life they envision and physical medicine to address structural issues. Jon Bakker believes that sustainable changes made to our foundational health habits are the most effective means to improve well-being.
Jon Bakker received his Doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine from Bastyr University in Seattle, WA. There he was on the leadership team that organizes and hosts nature-based conferences designed for naturopathic professionals and went above the requirements for additional hands on training by over 800 hours. Jon Bakker currently is the resident at Nature Cures and an associate at Quantum Neurocare.
He currently teaches as an adjunct faculty member at Bastyr University where he instructs naturopathic medical students on behavioral medicine techniques. Jon Bakker is an active member in the local and national naturopathic organizations, the AANP and WANP.
