Description

As a Naturopathic Oncology Provider, Edra Spevack’s goal is to provide personalized integrative care that respects each patient’s unique needs and choices. She is committed to patient-centered approaches and views her role as an educator and advocate for therapies and lifestyle changes that improve quality of life.

Spevack brings to Cancer Treatment Centers of America® (CTCA), Atlanta more than 16 years of experience as a naturopathic provider along with a background in education and program development. Spevack enjoys the collaborative approach to patient care at CTCA and appreciates being able to partner with and support patients through their healing process. “I feel privileged to work with patients who are challenged to make profound changes in their lives, and I am committed to supporting them through this often-transformative process.”

Prior to becoming a naturopathic provider, Spevack worked as a research associate at Women’s College Hospital in Toronto, Ontario. In 2002, she graduated from the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine (CCNM) and continued post-graduate training in advanced botanical medicine. Spevack went on to become an assistant professor in women’s health, assisting in the development of CCNM’s gynecology and sensitivity training program. Spevack maintained a private practice until April 2013 when she joined the CTCA®.

Spevack completed her fellowship of the American Board of Naturopathic Oncology in 2014 along with the Step Up to Excellence Leadership Program. Writing and publishing has always been an integral part of Spevack’s career. She has authored and co-authored many articles on naturopathic support and integrative care. Spevack is currently attending Duke University’s Leadership Program in Integrative Healthcare. She is committed to patient care and is a strong advocate for the growth and development of integrative care. She is a contributing participant on the Oncology Association of Naturopathic Physicians’ education committee and is an active member of the American Association of Naturopathic Physicians and Georgia’s Association of Naturopathic Physicians.
