Sky River Natural Health
Dr. Dominika Neary received her Bachelor’s degree in Social Psychology from Western Washington University in Bellingham, in 2002. During her time at the university, she worked as a patient care representative for PeaceHealth Hospitals and discovered her passion for helping others find their path to wellness. She obtained her medical degree from Bastyr University, one of the world’s leading academic centers for naturopathic medicine, in 2008. Following graduation, she completed a prestigious year-long residency at Bastyr University’s teaching clinic, Bastyr Center for Natural Health. This training included clinical rotations at the Bastyr Center as well as community clinics across the Seattle area serving low income and minority patients in addition to teaching experience. Dr. Dominika currently serves as adjunct clinical faculty at Bastyr and is passionate about helping train future naturopathic doctors. She is a current member of the Washington Association of Naturopathic Physicians.
Careful listening and compassionate care are the hallmarks of Dr. Dominika’s practice. She is committed to helping her patients obtain their health goals and experience life without limitations. Always seeking to address the underlying cause of illness rather than suppressing symptoms, Dr. Dominika is dedicated to educating, empowering and accompanying patients on their journey towards optimal health. She enjoys collaborating with patients to create treatment plans that are simple and effective. Her philosophy is to “use the least force necessary” and she loves to laugh, finding humor to be one of the best medicines.
Dr. Dominika specializes in women’s health (menstrual concerns, fertility, menopause), digestive issues and detoxification. She practices naturopathic family medicine and welcomes everyone, regardless of age or medical condition. Dr. Dominika is happy to work with children, but prefers not to be their primary care doctor as she has no children from her own (aside from pretty awesome older step-kids and wonderful niece) and has not pursued specialized pediatric training. She has, however, received training in craniosacral and Scenar therapies.
Dr. Dominika lives in Monroe with her husband and love of her life, Dr. Dean. She enjoys outdoor activities such as camping, hiking, backpacking and learning to fish. Curling up with a good book and delicious coffee is her ultimate favorite past time. She’s fluent in Polish and spent the first 7 years of her life in Poland, landing in the United States after a 2-year stint in Italy. She has a passion for travel and little by little plans to explore the world.
