Dr. Christina Amicone graduated from the University of Connecticut with a Bachelor of Science in nutrition and a minor in Biology.  She achieved her doctorate in naturopathic medicine from Bastyr University in Seattle, WA, a school renowned for it's foundation in the medical sciences.  She spent 3 years in a naturopathic residency program in Montana with a focus on naturopathic oncology and primary care.  She worked with medical and radiation oncologists, co-managing oncology patients to prevent and reduce the side-effects of conventional treatments, prevent cancer recurrence and improve quality of life.   Her residency also included a focus on naturopathic primary care at the largest naturopathic clinic in Montana and surrounding states. She has a special interest in naturopathic detoxification, gastrointestinal problems (including irritable bowel syndrome and inflammatory bowel disease), women’s health (annual exams, menstrual problems and menopause), autoimmune diseases, food sensitivities and cancer care.
