Hearth Natural Medicine
Dr. Brittney Northrop is a recent transplant from the east coast, where her journey toward health and healing began. In her early 20s she was seriously injured in a car accident, and discovered that the allopathic medical model was great for saving lives in emergencies, but was not designed for holistic care and long-term wellness. By seeking out alternative therapies for herself, she discovered naturopathic medicine, and decided this was her calling. She is a graduate of Bastyr University, where she earned her doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine.
Dr. Northrop strives to create a deep therapeutic relationship with her patients, offering a highly individualized approach to medicine that empowers people in their journeys toward health. Her areas of interest include homeopathy, hydrotherapy, behavioral and mind-body medicine, botanical medicine, and physical medicine.
She has received additional training in homeopathy, hydrotherapy, biofeedback, craniosacral therapy, visceral manipulation, and colon hydrotherapy. Her clinical interests include pain, complex chronic disease, digestive complaints, and mental health. In her free time, she can be found hiking, foraging, making herbal medicine, playing music, and whipping up culinary delights in her kitchen.
