Dr. ANDREA HILLSTAD

Dr. Andrea is a Naturopathic Doctor and Reiki Master. She was born and raised in the Fargo/Moorhead area. She received her bachelor’s in biology from Minnesota State University Moorhead. From there she went on to complete her naturopathic medical degree at the Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine in Tempe, Arizona. Dr. Andrea specializes in the treatment of autoimmune diseases, detoxification, gemstone therapy and energy medicine.

Naturopathic medicine is a distinct primary health care profession, emphasizing prevention, treatment, and optimal health through the use of therapeutic methods and substances that encourage individuals' inherent self-healing process. The practice of naturopathic medicine includes modern and traditional, scientific, and empirical methods. A Naturopathic Doctor will do an extensive intake and treat the whole person; mind, body and spirit. They will look for the root cause of disease and use any number of natural modalities to unlock the body's innate ability to heal itself.
