Dr. Amy Littlefield is a board certified naturopathic physician and acupuncturist who specializes in integrative oncology. She combines her experiences to create personalized, integrative health plans for her patients that utilizes the best of both conventional and complementary strategies to facilitate healing for her patients.
Licensed naturopathic physician (ND) by the State of Vermont. Educational accreditation by The Council on Naturopathic Medical Education.
As an oncology-certified naturopathic physician with a pharmacology endorsement, Dr. Littlefield is able to provide a comprehensive range of naturopathic treatment options. Using the least invasive methods first, she will work with you to identify and treat the root cause of illness, for improved whole health and quality of life.
Board certified in naturopathic oncology by the American Board of Naturopathic Oncology (ABNO). This certification is only granted to naturopathic physicians who meet standards representative of advanced experience and knowledge in cancer care.
Dr. Littlefield is one of five oncology-certified naturopathic physicians in New England. Her extensive education and training in naturopathic medicine and oncology allows her to develop integrative oncology practices that are innovative, evidence based, and highly effective.

As an LAc, Dr. Littlefield is a trained, licensed, and experienced practitioner of acupuncture. This certification allows her to provide her patients with acupuncture treatment as a complement to their conventional oncology care – effectively managing symptoms related to side-effects of chemotherapy, radiation, and surgery.
Dr. Littlefield spends one day per week at the University of Vermont Cancer Center providing acupuncture treatment to cancer patients during chemotherapy infusion.
The MSOM program is designed to provide graduates with a foundational understanding of both western and eastern medical science. As an MSOM, Dr. Littlefield has been trained in the five branches of oriental medicine – Acupuncture, Herbal Medicine, Nutrition and Dietary Therapy, Tui Na Oriental Bodywork and Therapeutic Massage, Qi Gong and Tai Chai – as well as modern biomedical science and diagnostics in physiology, microbiology, pathology, radiology, and public health.
Dr. Littlefield’s application of this broad range of medical training results in her comprehensive, evidence-based approach to integrative oncology.
