Dr. Ahdut completed her early post-doctorate training under medical doctors (MD) and Doctors of Osteopathy (DO). She created EIPC as a primary care holistic wellness center, where she could take her conventional experience and integrate it with her naturopathic principles. Dr. Ahdut strikes a healthy balance between Eastern and Western treatment philosophies and modalities. For Dr. Ahdut, communication is paramount. She is passionate about educating her patients so that they can participate in their own treatment and wellness process. Dr. Amira Ahdut graduated with Honors from Willamette University in 2005 with undergraduate degrees in Chemistry and Music. She then went on to medical school at the Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine in Tempe, Arizona, where she focused her education in Primary Care, Pain Management, Women's and Men's Health, and Acupuncture. She completed her 1 1/2 year residency in interventional pain management at Integrated Interventional Pain Management in Mesa, AZ in 2010. She also specializes in nutritional counseling, weight-loss therapies, diabetes/metabolic health, gastro-intestinal issues and modalities such as bio-identical hormone replacement and food and environmental allergy testing and desensitization treatment. Dr. Ahdut is also a graduate from the Phoenix Institute of Herbal Medicine and Acupuncture where she completed her Internship in Traditional Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture.
