Dr.Allison Greenberg earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Linfield College in Oregon. She went on to earn her Doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine from National University of Natural Medicine in Portland, Oregon. She completed her integrative residency at Federal Way Naturopathy, working with both medical and naturopathic doctors to develop an understanding of naturopathic primary care, allopathic standard of care and where they intersect.
Dr.Greenberg currently practices naturopathic family medicine and enjoys working with family units, not only to improve each individual’s health, but to improve the health of the home. She has special interests in digestive health, including IBS, SIBO (small intestinal bacterial overgrowth) and other forms of dysbiosis, food sensitivities and other chronic digestive illnesses. Dr.Greenberg also has a passion for nutrition and works with patients on developing customized meal plans.
In her approach to wellness, Dr.Greenberg evaluates lab work thoroughly to make sure values are optimal and not just “in range”. She also provides specialty lab testing, including food sensitivity testing, comprehensive GI testing, neurotransmitter and hormone testing. Based on these results, she works with patients to develop tailored treatment plans that are specific to their individual needs.
Outside her role as doctor, Dr.Greenberg is a mother of 2 young boys and thoroughly enjoys chasing them around with her husband in the great outdoors of the Pacific Northwest.
