Practice name
Immanence Health
Dr Alison Hearst is a board certified, licensed Naturopathic Physician in Washington State. She received her undergraduate degree in Molecular and Cellular Biology at the University of Puget Sound in Tacoma, Washington and earned her Doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine from Bastyr University in Kenmore, Washington.
Dr Hearst’s interest in complex chronic disease sparked at a young age. From childhood, she struggled with chronic illness and understands the impact it has on physical, emotional and spiritual well being. After years of failed treatments and feeling abandoned by the traditional medical system, she sought out answers for the underlying cause of chronic illnesses, which eventually led to the Naturopathic Medicine and Immanence Health.
Philosophy
Dr Hearst’s role is as a listener and witness of your unique story. Her goal is to work alongside you as a guide, helping you navigate and uncover your journey to wellness. She is a true believer in the healing power of the body and aims to assist her patients in removing obstacles to health while stimulating their innate healing capacities. She commonly observes dismissive behaviors of the medical system towards the chronically ill, resulting in feelings of isolation. You are not alone and you do not have to navigate your journey to wellness alone. Dr Hearst believes you know your body better than anyone else and is a strong advocate for patient empowerment. Her ultimate goal is for patients to tap into their inner resilience and sense of belonging.

Dr Hearst’s primary interests include complex chronic illnesses, autoimmune diseases, gastrointestinal and neurological dysregulations, chronic infections, Lyme Disease and co-infections, Mold and Mycotoxin Illness, Mast Cell Activation Syndrome (MCAS), Multiple Chemical Sensitivities (MCS), Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (CFS) and POTS. Her tools for engaging the nervous system include biofeedback, breathwork, limbic system retraining, Autonomic Response Testing (ART) and neural therapy. She also has extensive training in Craniosacral Therapy and Visceral Manipulation and greatly believes in the power of therapeutic touch.
